Acronis True Image 2019 (ATI) was easy to install. Tried multiple times to create a full back, ended up with a number of very large files that could not be read by ATI. The quirks of this software really make it awful to work with.
We use Acronis but have had several issues with it where it uses tons of resources that make workstations un-useable. It also will delete folders from user developed tools without notifying the user that those files have been removed.
What are the pros?
When its working it works fine and behind the scenes
What are the cons?
When it decides to be as resource heavy as possible and when it removes user files is just unacceptable. We've reviewed this with both our MSP and with Acronis to see what could be the issue but no resolve was ever discovered.
