What is the Hide My Email option?
Apple allows you to sign up for third-party sites like Dropbox without sharing your email address using the Hide My Email feature. If you choose to enable Hide My Email when you create a new Dropbox account, Apple will generate a random email address using the domain @privaterelay.appleid.com. Anything sent to that email address will automatically be forwarded to the email address associated with your Apple ID.
